Blower Filters

  * We at Fleming Gray Ltd have incorporated the very latest technology for the capture of the transient metal dust and filings created by our skate sharpening process.  The filter efficiency that is utilized in our blower filters is 99.9% at the 7-10 micron  particle size (in English this means that our filters are 99.9% efficient at capturing dust particles 0.00027559" to 0.0003937" in diameter). 

  * What does this mean to you?  This means that our equipment will do the best job at sharpening your skates while evacuating the dust and keeping your work environment clean and keep you breathing easy.

  *  We recommend that you clean these filters weekly.  This can be done by removing the filter, placing it in a garbage bag, standing the filter on end and shaking the heavy particles out of it.  The filter can then be blown out with compressed air.  This is done from the inside out.  We recommend doing this operation outside and wearing a dust mask and goggles.  Lastly, wipe out the inside of the filter canister and reinstall the filter.
